How PUNCH CARD LAB handles data and analytics.
Data stored in this browser
The debugger deck, selected card and color, fictional usage total, sound setting and existing analytics opt-out setting are stored in localStorage. Card contents are not saved to Firebase. Clearing site data also removes saved cards and settings.
Firebase & Google Analytics
The operator uses Firebase Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-0YKE146XYP) to understand and improve usage. It measures page views and fixed action names, IDs, screens and placements, such as mode, camera and share controls. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes device and browser information.
Custom events do not include card text, holes, pasted links, URL queries or fragments, scores or charges. Referrer URLs are not sent. Advertising storage, user data, personalization and Google signals are disabled.
Analytics runs only on HTTPS pages at the canonical domain. It is disabled for DNT, GPC, existing opt-outs, local and preview environments, and automated browsers.

Sharing and external services
Shared deck URLs contain card contents. Opening X passes the post text and shared URL to X. The destination’s terms and privacy policy apply. Check the contents before sharing.
3D libraries and models are served by this site. When analytics is enabled, the Firebase SDK loads from Google’s CDN. Service providers may process request metadata.
